A FORMER Halesowen man showcased his Black Country tartan at a special event which raised £1k for people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Philip Tibbetts attended the Burns Night wearing a kilt made of the tartan of his own design.
The evening, held at the Limes Country Lodge in Solihull, featured poetry readings, traditional Scottish food and a piper.
The event was supported by kilt specialist Vankilter which fitted out a host of guests in kilts in tartans including Philip's new Black Country and Halesowen tartans.
A charity auction in aid of Solihull branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society featured lots including a cricket bat from the Champions Trophy final when England Beat the West Indies, signed by the whole team and drew a winning bid of £100.
